Belle & Bold — Hygiene-Sensitive Products & Return Policy

Belle & Bold is a small, independent business. Due to the hygienic and safety-sensitive nature of beauty, skincare, fragrance, and cosmetic products, and the inability to verify product condition once delivered, most sales are final, except where required by applicable law.

This policy exists to protect customer health, product authenticity, and the sustainability of our business.


1. Hygiene-Sensitive Products (Strict No-Return Policy)

The following products are classified as hygiene-sensitive items and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund once delivered, except where required by law.


Fragrances (Full-Size, Travel Sprays & Decants)

This includes:

  • Full-size perfumes

  • Travel sprays

  • Fragrance decants

Returns are not accepted because:

  • Fragrance liquids cannot be authenticated once received

  • There is a risk of dilution, substitution, or contamination

  • We cannot verify whether a fragrance has been sprayed or altered

Scent preference is subjective.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for scent regret, preference changes, or dislike of fragrance notes.


Makeup Products (Including Items Without Manufacturer Seals)

Many makeup products — including lipsticks, lip glosses, mascaras, eyeliners, and similar items — are sold by the manufacturer without a protective seal.

Due to their direct contact with skin, lips, and eyes, all makeup products are classified as hygiene-sensitive items, regardless of whether a manufacturer seal was present.

Once delivered, makeup products cannot be verified for prior use, swatching, or contamination and therefore are final sale.


Skincare & Haircare Products

Skincare and haircare products are not eligible for return or exchange if they have been:

  • Opened

  • Unsealed

  • Pumped

  • Tested

  • Used

Once a product leaves our control, its condition cannot be verified and it cannot be restocked for hygiene and safety reasons.


Final Sale Items

All discounted, promotional, or clearance items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange, except where required by law.


2. Exceptional Cases — Fulfilment or Transit Errors Only

A replacement or store credit may be offered at our discretion only in the following situations:

  • You received an incorrect item

  • The product arrived physically damaged in transit (e.g., leaking, cracked glass, broken atomizer)

  • Your order arrived incomplete

These are the only situations eligible for review.


3. Mandatory 3-Day Reporting Window

You must contact us within three (3) days of delivery to report any eligible issue.

Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for review.


4. How to Submit a Claim (Evidence Required)

You must include all of the following:

  • Clear photos of the item

  • Clear photos of the original outer shipping box, inner packaging, and protective materials

  • A clear photo of the shipping label on the package

  • A brief description of the issue

These materials are required to verify the claim and, where applicable, for carrier insurance purposes. Claims submitted without complete documentation may be denied.

⚠️ Do not return any items without prior written authorization.
Unauthorized returns will be refused and may be discarded.


5. Return Shipping (If Authorized)

If an authorized return is approved for a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Belle & Bold will provide a return shipping label

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable


6. Order Cancellations

Orders are processed promptly. Once an order has entered Processing or Shipped status, it cannot be cancelled or modified.
